Default [Guide] How to read text files and ebooks on your PSP

This is a guide that will show you how to read .txt, .html (without formatting) and .c files on your PSP. You must have either 1.5 firmware or custom firmware installed to do this:

Files Needed:

PSP Reader - for English and Chinese Language

Instructions:
  • Download PSP Reader.
  • Place PSP Reader in the GAME or GAME150 folder on the PSP.
  • Create a folder on the root of your memory stick called "Books".
  • Now you need to place the .txt file or the .html or.c file that you want to read on your PSP into the "Books" folder.
  • Boot your PSP and go to the Game menu on the XMB. Go to memory stick>PSPReader and launch it.
  • Once PSPReader has launched, navigate to the "Books" and choose the file/book you wish to read and the file will be loaded, ready to read on your PSP.

Please do not reproduce this guide without my permission. It was written for pspspot.net and should not be posted elsewhere. Thank you.

If it's custom firmware 4.01M33 then it should work no problem at all. I havent tried it on 4.01M33 yet but, it should work. If you have official firmware then it wont work for you.
